Somewhere between reality and fiction is how I would describe my work. From an early age I have always been an observer of Baroque art as well as nineteenth century European and American painting. The use of color, strong composition and confident brushwork have always inspired me to paint images using traditional techniques. Being from the Chicago area, I have always taken advantage of all the great art collections this city has to offer. I continue to absorb the vast amounts of information left from the painters of the past.
